Kutheni imifanekiso ibalulekile kwiincwadi zamabali nakwiincwadi zokufunda?

Kuthathwa njengento eqhelekileyo ukuba iincwadi zabantwana abancinci zigxininisa kakhulu kwimifanekiso, ngokukodwa imizobo emihle.

Nokuba ngaba yincwadi yamabali esekhaya okanye incwadi yokufunda esegumbini lokufunda lesikolo, kunqabile ukufumana iincwadi ezingaqulethanga imifanekiso kuzo xa kuthethwa ngabaphulaphuli abaselula. Abaninzi bacinga ukuba ngenxa yokuba abantwana besenokungakwazi ukufunda amagama ngelo xesha, bayayifuna imifanekiso ukuze baliqonde ibali. Ewe oko ayibobuxoki, kodwa imifanekiso ekwiincwadi zamabali isenokubaluleka ngaphaya kokuba sicinga kuba ikwanayo nento exhamlisa abafundi.

Imifanekiso ivuselela uthando lokufunda

Ingaba usayikhumbula incwadi owawuyithanda usengumntwana? Le wawufuna ukuphinda uyifunde kwakhona, uyijonge ngokuphindaphindiweyo, okanye eyayibangela ukuba ucinge? Imifanekiso yenza ibali liphile kwaye isebenza njengesikhokelo esibonwayo kwinto eyenzekayo kwiphepha ngalinye lebali. Abantwana banokwenza imifanekiso engqondweni yeziganeko zamabali baze kamva bazenzele awabo amabali, bephuhlisa ubuchule babo bokuyila kunye nezakhono zokuzoba umfanekiso ngqondweni.

Imifanekiso ikhuthaza uphuhliso lwezakhono zokufunda nokubhala ebantwaneni

Imifanekiso ekhapha isicatshulwa okanye umbhalo webali inika izixhobo eziluncedo ekuncedeni abantwana bakhe izakhono ezisisiseko zokufunda nokubhala. UShuvitz (1985) wacacisa wathi “ngaphandle kwemifanekiso, sisenokungayiqondi intsingiselo yamagama.” Imifanekiso isenokunceda abantwana baqonde amagama angaqhelekanga ebalini ngokubanceda badibanise imifanekiso esencwadini namagama akwiphepha. Njengoko befunda, okanye xa belifundelwa ibali, abantwana basenokusebenzisa imifanekiso ukuze bafunde amagama ezinto, umzekelo; xa umzali okanye utitshala embuza umbuzo ofana nothi, “Ungayikhomba indlovu kweli phepha?”

Ngenxa yokuba inkoliso yeencwadi ezinika ulwazi lokwenyani zizisa imixholo engaqhelekanga ukunceda abantwana bafunde ngehlabathi elibangqongileyo, ezi ncwadi ke zibazisa amagama amatsha, yaye la magama abonakaliswa ngemifanekiso ukuze incede abantwana babe nentsingiselo. Njengoko abantwana besiya beqonda intsingiselo yamagama amatsha angaqhelekanga ngokusebenzisa imifanekiso, isigama sabo siyakhula.

Imifanekiso isenokukhulisa uthando lobugcisa

Incwadi yamabali enemifanekiso yenye yeendlela umntwana anokuthi aziswe ngayo kubugcisa obubonwayo. NgokukaJacobs noTunnell (1996), iincwadi ezinemifanekiso zisisithuthi esigqibeleleyo sokuvula amehlo omntwana kubuhle namandla obugcisa. Njengoko abantwana befunda iincwadi ezahlukeneyo ezinemizobo kunye nemifanekiso, baboniswa iindlela ezahlukeneyo zobugcisa kwaye, xa benikwe ithuba, basenokuphawula ngemifanekiso ukuze bathethe into abayithandayo okanye abangayithandiyo ngayo. Oku ke kubavumela ukuba baphuhlise izakhono zokucinga ezibalulekileyo besebancinci.
