Matseliso Edith Lesupi is a Mosotho woman, residing in Bloemfontein, Free State Province in South Africa. She is an author of 14 Sesotho books, 1 English novel and 1 poetry for young generations. 4 of her Sesotho books are prescribed for Primary School children in Lesotho.

She has worked for the Free State Department of Education as Primary schools’ teacher for 18 years, currently serving the same department as Deputy Chief Education Specialist for ECD and Foundation Phase for the 11th year now. She is also Lecturing Foundation Phase students part time at the University of the Free State.

In 2015, she obtained master’s degree in education with the research topic entitled: Grade R Practitioners experience in using Sesotho as medium of instruction in Grade R.

She is currently involved in the writing of AWEH Sesotho books for Grade 1-3 children with Oxford Press.
