The change from the classroom environment to a TVET college lecture room can be a difficult transition for some students. It is especially important that their first experience of the lecture room and the lecturer is positive so that they can feel comfortable and adjust quickly to the demands of tertiary education.
However, there are still many tools, resources and concepts used in high school classrooms by teachers that are just as relevant for the student and the TVET lecturers. This is especially true for the NCV and NATED courses offered at TVET Colleges.
We have chosen some blog posts from our Schools page that we think would be informative for TVET lectures, but if you spend some time there, you will find many more.
