Oxford’s Learning and Development Hub

by | May 19, 2023 | Careers

At Oxford University Press, we believe in investing in the growth and development of our employees. We recognize that in today’s fast-paced world, continuous learning is essential for both personal and professional growth. That’s why we have created a dedicated Learning and Development Hub that offers a wide range of learning opportunities to our employees.

Our professional development offer is built on the 70:20:10 principle, which means that of all the learning our colleagues undertake, around 70% is experiential, around 20% is social, and around 10% is formal. This principle recognizes that learning is not just about attending courses but also about engaging in experiential learning and social interaction.

Our L&D team plays a crucial role in supporting learning in all its forms and advising on how to get the best out of the learning options available. We provide access to a variety of learning resources, including LinkedIn Learning, hundreds of free online courses, and Oxford bespoke courses.

Linked In Learning offers over 16,000 courses on a range of topics, including business, technology, and creative skills. Our employees can access these courses at any time, from anywhere, to enhance their skills and knowledge.

We also offer Oxford bespoke courses, which are designed to meet specific learning needs within our organization. These courses are tailored to our employees’ needs and are delivered by experts in their respective fields.

At OUP, we believe that investing in our employees’ learning and development is essential for our success. By providing a range of learning opportunities, we enable our employees to develop their skills, knowledge, and expertise, which benefits both them and our organization. We are committed to supporting our employees’ ongoing learning and development and empowering them to achieve their full potential.
